Sinopsis The Legend of the Blue Sea (2016) :

Episode Sebelumnya -- Terinspirasi oleh legenda Joseon klasik dari koleksi pertama Korea cerita sejarah resmi, tentang seorang nelayan yang menangkap dan melepaskan putri duyung, drama ini menceritakan kisah cinta antara anak seorang keluarga bangsawan Joseon bernama Dam-Ryeong (Lee Min-ho) dan putri duyung bernama Shim Chung (Jun Ji-hyun). Shim Chung menemukan dirinya diangkut ke zaman modern. Dia ditangkap oleh Heo Joon-jae, menarik tapi dingin penipu yang adalah doppelganger dari Dam-Ryeong. Tapi di saat ini, Joon-jae bekerja dengan Jo Nam-doo (Lee Hee-joon), seorang penipu terampil yang memandu Joon-jae untuk menjadi scammer jenius. Kebetulan, junior Joon-Jae, Cha Shi-ah (Shin Hye-sun), yang bekerja sebagai peneliti di KAIST, mungkin satu-satunya harapan Shim Chung untuk bertahan hidup di dunia yang aneh barunya.
